Work of NSUASE (Sibstrin) in China with the support of the Minyang educational corporation

Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the “Results of the Year” press conference on December 14, 2023: “... I’ll just repeat, I’m obliged to do this, our level of interaction with the People’s Republic of China is unprecedentedly high.” The work of NSUACE (Sibstrin) in terms of international activities over the past six months has been closely connected with China. Let us recall that on October 10 of this year, an agreement was signed at NSUACE (Sibstrin) on the creation of a Representative Office of Higher School of the Novosibirsk Region in China on the basis of the Minyang Educational Corporation (Beijing Mingyang Weilai Education Technology Co.), within the framework of which the Coordination Council of Educational Institutions of the Novosibirsk Region proposed and voted “For” to head the management of the Representative Office of NSUACE (Sibstrin) for one year.

NSUACE (Sibstrin) is presented to more than 1000 Chinese schoolchildren

On December 13, 2023, in order to attract graduates of Chinese schools to study, a presentation was held from 9 universities of the Novosibirsk region: NSUACE (Sibstrin), NSUEM, NSU, NSPU, NSTU, NSAU, SSUWT, SibSUTIS, NSUADA in Chinese. The main organizers of the event: Novosibirsk Interuniversity Center for International Education "NICE", Representative Office of Universities of the Novosibirsk Region and the Udmurt Republic in China, Beijing company Beijing Mingyang Weilai Education Technology Co., Ltd with the assistance of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing (Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in China).

The Center for Technosphere Safety, Environmental Management and Water Use was opened in Belarus in cooperation with NSUACE (Sibstrin)

The Rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin), Corresponding Member of RAASN, Professor Yuri Skolubovich takes part in the II Republican Forum of Young Scientists of Higher Education Institutions, which takes place on May 17-23 at Belarusian-Russian University (Mogilev, Republic of Belarus). The purpose of the forum is to popularize education and science among young people; support talented young people and highlight their developments. More than 100 representatives of the universities of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation attended the Forum, including students, master’s students, postgraduate students and the staff. The First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Bakhanovich, made a welcoming speech at the opening of the Forum.

NSUACE (Sibstrin) student (Sibstrin) is a bronze medalist of the Olympiad in foreign languages among the university students of non-linguistic specialties in Russia and the CIS.

We congratulate Alexander Vorobyov, a first-year student of NSUACE (Sibstrin), the Institute of Civil Engineering (Sibstrin), who took the third place in the International Student Olympiad in Foreign Languages among the university students of non-linguistic specialties. The event was held from March 28 to April 11, 2023 at the Russian Technological University of MIREA. The Olympiad received about 200 applications from the university students of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Amur Region, Republic of Bashkortostan, Belgorod Region, Volgograd Region, Voronezh Region, Jewish Autonomous Region, Ivanovo Region, Lipetsk Region, Magadan Region, Kaliningrad Region, Krasnodarsky Krai, Krasnoyarsky Krai, Komi Republic,

About the Chair

On the 2^nd of October, 2015 the Agreement on the establishment of the UNESCO Chair on Theory and Technology of Environmental Safety in Water Resources Control at Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin), Russia, was duly signed by Ms Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, France, and Rector of Sibstrin University Professor Yuriy Skolubovich.

THE CHAIR AIMS TO IMPLEMENT ECOLOGICALLY FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGIES TO ADDRESS REGIONAL AND GLOBAL PROBLEMS IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND WATER MANAGEMENT.

The Chair is planning its perspective as the regional national and international research, educational and training centre.

The activities of the Chair focus on implementing long-term programmes to address regional and global issues of water management complex with the development of innovative technologies to ensure the rational use of water resources and environmental protection.

Research of the Chair aims to create ecologically friendly technologies of sewage and industrial water treatment, zero-energy consuming buildings, 3D modeling of natural processes, such as heat-losses of buildings, ground thermal and low thermal waters as a source of renewable energy.

Our collaboration with other UNESCO Chairs and partnership with public and private sector organizations and foundations will contribute to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
