Ecoyards are held as a part of the implementation of Comfortable Urban Environment National Project and are aimed not only at making people appreciate the conditions that are created in the yards of their apartment buildings, but also at environmental education, and the culture of separate waste collection, in particular, Maria Sidorova, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Novosibirsk City Administration, says. “Therefore, as a part of the campaign, children take part in an environmental quest conducted by students, and all residents can bring garbage for recycling and get sweet prizes”. For running the campaign in each district we chose one or two yards, that fell under Comfortable Urban Environment program and were landscaped within the framework of the national project this year. In total, 37 yards were landscaped in 2021 and there will be signs installed on their territory stating that the national project has been implemented.

 NSUACE (Sibstrin) took part in “Technoprom 2021” International Forum The International Technological Development Forum “Technoprom 2021” was held under the auspices of The Year of Science and Technologies declared by Vladimir Putin’s presidential decree No. 812. The forum is one of the biggest Russian business platforms. The Forum events were held in a hybrid format – on the online platforms and the traditional site at Novosibirsk-Expocentre from 25 to 27 August. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Alexander Zhukov, Novosibirsk region Governor Andrey Travnikov and the Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov. On the first day of the forum, the rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yury Leonidovich Skolubovich took part in “Technological transformation as a basis for the transition to the green economy” plenary session. At the meeting with the participation of Science and Higher Education Minister the issues of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, searching for and discussing the methods for absorbing CO2 and other climate problems were discussed. |

 The Delegation from Belarusian State Technological University is to visit NSUACE (Sibstrin) The delegation from the Republic of Belarus is to visit our university in order to develop international cooperation between Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin) and Belarusian State Technological University. The programme of the visit is also planned for the delegation to participate in “Panel Discussion on the Issues of Scientific Cooperation”, which will be held on August 26, 2021 at 159 Turgeneva street, at 11.00, room 275. We congratulate the students of the Institute of Civil Engineering and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of NSUACE (Sibstrin), who spoke successfully at the IX International Student Scientific Conference “Traditions, Modern Issues and Prospects for the Development of Civil Engineering” held at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (the Republic of Belarus) under the scientific supervision of the Department of Civil Engineering Mechanics.
The students of NSUACE (Sibstrin) have been participating in the international conferences organized by Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (the Republic of Belarus) for several years. This year was not an exception. Our students became the participants of the IX International Student Scientific Conference “Traditions, Modern Issues and Prospects for the Development of Civil Engineering” that was held on May 13-14, 2021.
Our university was one of the co-organizers of this conference together with Y. Kupala State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Bialystok University of Technology, International University of Innovative Technologies, National Research Moscow State University of Civil engineering and University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz.

 Pre-defense of master’s theses in english took place at the Unesco chair On June 16, 2021, at the international UNESCO Chair of NSUACE (Sibstrin) “Environmentally safety technologies of environmental management and water consumption”, a pre-defense of master's theses in English took place. The event was attended by the leaders and members of the UNESCO Chair and the Institute of International Affairs, as well as the undergraduates of the UNESCO Chair of the first year of study. Master Degree students: Pavel Kozlov, Elizaveta Latysh and Alexander Pogrebnoy defeated the presentation of their master's works before the commission under the chairmanship of the head of the UNESCO Chair, Rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yu.L. Skolubovich. As a result of the pre-defense, the commission positively assessed the results of studies conducted by undergraduates and their level of proficiency in English. The theses of Master students were devoted to the problems of the water disposal system of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. In particular, undergraduates studied the water supply and sanitation system of the cities of Muravlenko, Gubkinsky and Noyabrsk, where students were during the pre-diploma practice, and proposed options for its improvement taking into account the advanced technologies in this area. All works were carried out under the supervision of UNESCO Chair Professor and the Departments Water Supply and Sanitation of NSUACE (Sibstrin),G.T. Ambrossova. |
On June 17, 2021, Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin) and the two largest universities of the Republic of Belarus - Brest State Technical University and Belarusian State Technological University – made cooperation agreements. The documents were signed as part of the fifth meeting of the Business Council for Cooperation between the Government of Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Belarus, which was held with the participation of A.A. Travnikov, the Governor of Novosibirsk Region and Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies, V.N. Ivanov.
The agreements were signed by the heads of the universities: Rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yu.L. Skolubovich, Rector of BrSTU A.G. Bakhanovich and Rector of BSTU I.V. Voitov. The parties intend to conduct joint scientific research, exchange experience in the educational and innovative fields, and increase the academic mobility of teachers and students.

The results of a two-week student ecological marathon organized by German Society on International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH (Moscow, Russia – Germany) were summed up in a live on December 24, 2020.
The New Year ecological marathon took place within a Year of Germany in Russia 2020/2021 for the purpose to popularize ecologically useful habits among representatives of younger generation of our country.
Within two weeks the college teams from Tomsk, Perm, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Voronezh, St. Petersburg and Moscow performed various tasks in the form of videos, essays, photos and presentations.
