«ROUND TABLE» CONFERENCE «WORLD PRACTICE OF SOLVING THE PROBLEMS IN CONSTRUCTION AND ENVIRONMENT» ,dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of NSUACE (Sibstrin)

 

Dear colleagues and partners!

Institute of International Affairs invites you and your colleagues to join the Round Table discussion “World Practice of Solving the Problems in Construction and Environment” (in English), dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of NSUACE (Sibstrin), which will be held at UNESCO Chair of NSUACE (Sibstrin).

 The event will be held remotely on May 19, 2020 (Tuesday) at 14-00 (Novosibirsk time, GMT + 06:00).

 Round Table will be held for the second year in a row.

The geography of participants is expanding in a comparison with the Round Table last year.

Welcoming remarks will come from the event’s keynote speakers, our long-standing partners - scientists of the UNESCO Chair of Belgrade University (Serbia) M. Ivetic, J. Despotovic, A. Djukic, as well as the Head of the UNESCO Chair, Rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yu.L. Skolubovich.

 Presentational reports will be made by representatives of Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin); Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technology, Novosibirsk, Russia; National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, Moscow, Russia; German University in Cairo, Egypt; National University of Agriculture and Construction , Yerevan, Armenia; Pavlodar State Toraigyrov University, Pavlodar, Kazakhstan.

 The agenda of the event is based on the UNESCO Chair work of NSUACE (Sibstrin).

 The specifics of our Chair  work lies in the emphasis on applied scientific research of a technical nature within the framework of such sustainable development goals as:

  • No. 4 - Quality education;
  • No. 6 - Water treatment and sanitation;
  • No. 11 - Sustainable cities and towns;
  • No. 12 - Responsible consumption and production;
  • No. 17 - Partnership for Sustainable Development.

Particular attention of the UNESCO Chair is given to regional and international youth environmental projects as a mechanism for preparing responsible young people for our future beyond borders and races, creating all conditions for implementing ideas about safe future cities for our children lives and all next generations.
