A new autumn course of lectures on aerodynamics of the University of Stuttgart professor, Dr. Uwe Gaisbauer, started at Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin)

On October 15, 2019, the first lecture of autumn online series of lectures took place held by the German specialist in aerodynamics, Dr. Uwe Gaisbauer, University of Stuttgart, Germany.

The title of the course is "Applied Aerodynamics" and is read only in English without being translated into Russian. However, the lectures are accompanied by the additional educational material to be used by the participants.

The first part of the course is 8 online lectures. They will be read by the German professor from the middle of October to the beginning of December. The last 4 instructor-led lectures and a credit on the course will take place from December 16, 2019 to December 20, 2019 during the visit of the Professor Uwe Gaisbauer to Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin). At the end of the course the participants will be issued an international certificate.

The optional course was organized by the Institute for International Action of Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin) as part of the ERUSMUS+ programme of academic mobility. The organizers note that the updated course of the German specialist in aerodynamics is programmed taking into account the modern content of Russian engineering educational programmes.

Undergraduate students, postgraduate students, young scientists, PhD students, assistant professors of Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin), Novosibirsk State Technical University, Novosibirsk State University, Siberian State University of Geosystem and Technologies can participate. The lectures are free.

Online lectures will take place on Tuesdays from 14.10 to 15.35. Room 239 at Leningradskaya Street 113.
